Palmer Reed – Changes (Video)

by .

Directed By: Concrete Rose Films

After recently opening up for hip-hop artist Obie Trice, Orlando singer/songwriter Palmer Reed releases a cinematic visual for his latest single “Changes”. Beginning with a skit on The Not So Late Show, Karrick Robinson introduces Reed before he takes the stage to execute an intimate and heartfelt surprise performance featuring a live band. Shortly we get to see a different perspective where the show is being aired and the focus fluctuates between him watching in a bar while his love interest simultaneously tunes in from her bedroom as they ponder on what could have been. The contrasting outlooks accurately captures the essence of the lyrics showing how feelings can be altered by distance and time. Watch the visuals above and fall in love with the warmth of this track with each strum of his guitar. Stay tuned for more from Reed coming soon.

Boy Wonder & The Electric Jacket – Idiot

by .

PRODUCER: KickRaux

Boy Wonder and The Electric Jacket have put out a few songs together in the past but today they’re making their way to our pages with their KickRaux produced track, “Idiot.” This song has a pop-punk rock approach to it with lyrics on how sometimes you just mess up and end up feeling like an “idiot.” The track is pretty different than what we usually post on our pages, but it’s still snazzy enough to make you want to dance in your living room and have a sing-along. Enjoy the track above and to check out more from Boy Wonder and The Electric Jacket click here!

LBO – Pickin’ Liquor (ft. Sophia Schoenau)

Kickin’ off the New Year right, 21-year-old emcee LBO gives us a sneak peak into his upcoming EP collaboration with grammy-awarding producer 88-Keys, title (TBA). “Pickin’ Liquor,” the first installment on the project, features powerful yet tasteful vocals by LBO and Sophia Schoenau. Listen to their anthem about enjoying every minute of your night out with the squad, and giving a big “Fuck You” to everybody that isn’t doing the same.

Although quiet for most of 2015, it seems the NY artist spent his time in New Orleans focusing on his craft, making this EP look more promising with this new drop. Backed by light violin strings that draw you in from the first rift, LBO and Sophia Schoenau compliment each other atop hard-hitting production from 88-Keys.

The track properly closes out with Sophia’s vocals fading out on top of a breakdown of the beat’s drum pattern, leaving the audience wanting more from LBO sooner than later. LBO is expected to drop another new track as indicated on his instagram page.
