Florida rapper Ankavious returns with his new music ahead of the New Year.
On Christmas Day (Dec. 25), Ankavious officially released his new song “Life is Short.” The self-produced track kicks off with an infectious flute that loops throughout the bass-filled record. The emcee, who hails from North Miami, drops bars about living life for himself and his crew instead of the outside world.
“Life is Short” is the first single off his upcoming project coming soon. It comes nearly a year after he dropped off other songs like “3k,” “Super Souwse” and “Buju.”
Miami’s own Reazy Renegade gathered the squad together for a rare record just in time for the holidays.
On Friday (Dec. 18), the super-producer dropped his trap-influenced Christmas banger “Merry X-Mas” onto the CitrusRap airwaves. Reazy connected with T-Wayne, 3ohblack and BMW Kenny to drop holiday-themed bars over a hard-hitting beat which samples a timeless Christmas classic, “The Nutcracker.”
The festive track comes a year after Reazy dropped off his Blacklist IV project. After ending 2020 with his latest holiday banger, it’s clear that ReazyRenegade is preparing to release more music in the New Year. Prior to dropping the song, Reazy also teased the coming of his new video called “Lucid.” We haven’t seen the completed version yet, but hopefully it will drop in 2021.

Veteran rapper Dirtbag is back on the scene with a new song.
Not long after Megan Thee Stallion dropped her Good News album, Dirtbag followed up with a remix to one of her stand-out track “Work That.” Over a decade ago, the Dade County rapper assisted on the production to Juvenile’s 2006 single “Rodeo,” which is sampled in Meg’s record.
“They say once you make a hit it’s timeless,” Dirtbag told CitrusRap. “The great ones always get recycled that’s just what happened. I helped produce the track “Rodeo” for Juvenile back in 2006, which is a little known fact. Now here we are 14 years later and Megan Thee Stallion remade it on her Good News album. I had to add my swag to it!”
The fresh remix is another indication of Dirtbag’s comeback. Prior to releasing his “Work That” remix, Dirtbag dropped his Miami’s Most Wanted project featuring the politically-motivated record “Sleepin’ Giant.” Then, earlier this year, Dirtbag dropped off his single “Blueface” produced by Gorilla Tek.
