Rick Ross isn’t a fan of Tory Lanez’s new project.

On Friday (Sept. 25), Rick Ross hit up his Instagram Story to share how he felt about Tory dropping his Daystar album. After remaining silent for over two months about what happened during a shooting involving him and Megan Thee Stallion, Tory Lanez dropped a 17-track album in which he addresses the situation in multiple songs. Ross believes Tory made the wrong move.

“Tory Lanez, poor decision, brother. Dropping that project,” Ross said in a video in his Instagram story. “Just out of respect for Breonna Taylor. Just out of respect for Breonna Taylor, brother. We gotta respect these sisters. That ain’t how you address the accusations you facing with the sister. That was a  a poor choice, homie. You ain’t getting no money with that shit.”

Ross also accused Lanez of being insensitive to the plight of Black women like Megan and the late Breonna Taylor. In another post, Ross shows us a video of a new vehicle he “bought” for Tory. It turns out to be a white Smart car. “I heard your album went double-acrylic on DatPiff,” Ross wrote on the Instagram Story.

Prior to the album, Tory hadn’t said anything about his involvement with the shooting that happened in Los Angeles back in July. Following the incident, Lanez was arrested and charged with carrying a concealed weapon. He was released on bail shortly after his arrest. Since then, Megan Thee Stallion has gone on Instagram Live and claimed that Tory was the one who shot her.

Meanwhile, Tory didn’t waste time responding to Rozay. The Canadian rapper tweeted his thoughts about Ross’ posts.

“@RickRoss I respect u 2 much as a black man to disrespect you in these times, however I went out and marched  9 days strait for Breonna Taylor ..IN YOUR CITY …I didn’t see the ‘boss’ out there once ?…also stop tagging your endorsements in post about her . It’s a poor decision,” Tory wrote.
