Recap: The SURRRF Tour in Miami

PHOTOGRAPHER: Rob Portal

Despite news of an incoming tropical storm, The SURRRF Tour made its own waves sweeping through Miami impacting those in attendance with an unforgettable experience. As eager concert goers and music lovers made their way downtown Saturday night to Therapy Miami they were in for a real treat with a full bar, designated VIP areas, and an open dance floor to meet all of their needs. The show commenced with performances from a variety of artists from South Florida’s Net, Cashamill Animeboy, DXD, Broward County’s Max Mula, and Tennessee’s Case Arnold who set the tone of the night. Pro Club member Nik SB amped the crowd up dedicating a song to his homies while performing barefoot and shirtless making for a very lively display. The final opening act Ikabod maintained the vibes turning up with the performance of his infamous single “Maserati Hat”, dancing wildly and viciously swinging his dreads. With the crowd patiently awaiting the next act, California native Max P was greeted with applause as he emerged onto the stage. He proceeded to feed the crowd with an intense performance of his trap bangers “HOT BOYZ” and “Regardless” as they roared with satisfaction. Next the SWAMP POSSE collective mobbed the stage with nonstop hits from their catalog including “White Magic“, “Selena“, “Ryda Round“, “Unusual“, and “5Y“, in which the crowd showed their appreciation for by moshing and screaming “SWAMP SWAMP”. At this point the barbaric pack exploded with excitement knowing it was time for the grand finale and as Wifisfuneral surfaced bottle girls simultaneously made their entrance sparkling through the audience. In the past year the Palm Beach artist has quickly become a sensation known for his sick flow and consistency in putting out quality material. He kicked off his performance with his latest single “Boot It Up” and then smoothly transitioned into “Lightskin Trick Daddy” where he effortlessly spewed each word like venom. Wifi ended the night with a vigorous act of “SURRRF” as he flexed with his squad, and suddenly one of them jumps into the crowd for one of the most successful crowd surfs I have ever seen. This was just one of those things where you had to be there to understand. All in all, it’s safe to say the SURRRF Tour was a swell experience for those who attended and kudos to Dope Ent for making it happen!
