Fresh off of a promising week of sales of her biggest single to date it looks like “Bodak Yellow” will be the number one record in the country. Making Cardi B the first female rapper to have a sole single hit number one on Billboard’s Top 100. In a haze of an early victory lap and deal sealer, Cardi B dropped the heavily fantasized and highly anticipated remix of “Bodak Yellow” featuring the godfather of that particular flow pattern, Kodak Black, who is still on a strong run after his release of Project Baby 2.

As the world suspected he’d return back to the original ode, Lil Bill decided to take a different route and gave a wild display of his new skill set. Kodak Black holds the lone verse, with Cardi B returning to reprise the ear buzzing chorus. But that doesn’t take away from the greatness of what both tracks are. It isn’t every day that you hear a Bronx and Broward track. So this is one for the history books.

Fresh off of the release of his latest mixtape Boy Who Cried Wolf, Palm Beach County’s WifisFuneral sits down with Peter Rosenberg for Real Late with Rosenberg on Hot97. A 30 minute conversational piece for those around the world who haven’t caught onto the wave yet. The 20 year old emcee also gives a look into his personal life as he talks about the origin of his stage name and how he met his now best friend, DJ Scheme. Along with he start into becoming a rap connoisseur and a quick freestyle over a Cris Dinero beat live on the air.

It’s always great to see homeland artist out there seising their moments. But it’s even better when you find out that those same artist will be going back on tour in October AND releasing even more new music in the near future, as WifisFuneral announced that projects from each member of his independent label, Rich Life Records, will be releasing solo projects and a group mixtape will follow after.
