Father – Who’s Gonna Get Fucked First?

by .

DIRECTORS: Ryan Staake & Pomp & Clout
ALBUM: Who’s Gonna Get Fucked First?

Awful Records very own Father has presented a father’s day gift for all his kids (fans.) “Who’s Gonna Get Fucked First?” although this isn’t the type of video you’d show your kids, as Father would say it’s “brilliant fuck shit masterpiece.”  The Ryan Staake and Pomp & Clout-directed video features extreme close-ups of both the female and male anatomy, not showing anything too graphic. This track is featured on Fathers album Who’s Gonna Get Fucked First? which is available for purchase on iTunes. Also be sure to catch Father along with Playboi Carti, KeithCharles Spacebar, and Slug Christ on his ‘Cry $$$’ Tour which kicks off next week in Miami. itsADOLLA – Plug 2.0 (ft. Father & OG Maco)

by .

VISUAL ART BY: Distorted
PRODUCER: TCMG
PROJECT: Witness | Download

itsADOLLA’s latest project Witness was extremely slept on and was great from start to finish. Being his first official mixtape, it included many impressive features some of them being Rich the Kid, Gunplay, Cory Gunz, and King Los. Also included on the project is a track titled “Plug 2.0” which features Father and OG Maco, and now there’s a visual for this song. The video isn’t your typical visual piece, done by artist Distorted, you can catch animated versions of the rappers along with some other trippy animations, which makes for an engaging visual for viewers. Sit back and enjoy the video above, and if you want to revisit Witness click here.

Father – Papicodone [EP]

by .

Fresh from announcing his first headlining tour, Awful Records’ Father decided to drop a new EP titled Papicodone. One to politely ask you to stop wearing and making fake Versace, the other where he talks about trying to make a getaway.  Both “Please Stop Making Fake Versace” and “Getaway” were produced by Father himself and provide a hazy, simple but hypnotizing beat. Father plans to add more records to this EP over time so expect more heat from the Atlanta artist coming soon.

Abra – U Ain’t Got To Lie (ft. Father)

by .

PRODUCER: N/A
MIXED BY: John Wade

Awful Records is a collective of 15 talented artists that share one thing in common: their skillful ability to make great music. 4/20 has been declared to be #AwfulHoliday and to celebrate they released 14 tracks to surprise fans. One of the tracks included in this release titled “U Ain’t Got To Lie” was a seductive tune by Abra with a feature by Awful Records founding father, FatherAbra lets men know she’s onto their game and she’s not having it while Father adds some erotic rhymes, this charming track is one of my personal favorites off of the collection of loosies. If you want to hear more check out the #AwfulHoliday collection here.

Slug Christ – FooFooBooBoo Sack (ft. Lord Narf & Father)

by .

PRODUCER: Slug Christ
PROJECT: N/A
LATEST RELEASE: I Feel the Sadness in my Legs and the Happy in my Head | Stream

Slug Christ links up with Lord Narf and Father in his self-produced track “FooFooBooBoo Sack.” The Atlanta clique Awful Records never disappoints in any track they’re on, with their unmatched sound you’re sure to be in for a pleasant surprise with their music. This stimulating track is definitely something I can see a crowd of people getting wild to at a show.

Cherele – Paradise Lost [Album]

by .

PREMIERED BY: Fact Magazine | Read

When releasing an album, there’s always little to no room for error, unless you just truly hate your fans. Especially in this new age, where music is discarded as fast as a packet of duck sauce at your local Chinese food spot. You nearly have to aim for perfection in order to retain your spot in rap history. But in some cases, everything is just natural. And it seems like Cherele is one of those cases. On Friday morning, with the help of Fact Magazine, she debuted her album to the world, Paradise Lost. Instantly, it garnished flawless reception with an hour. The album starts off with “Timing, a track that I personally played a minimum of 10 times once I received the album’s link. She reminisces of the times with her grandad, and a short excerpt about him that helps define her ways and her roots a little more to the world. With lines like: “He was selling coke and pimpin’, since I was in diapers pissin’..” Paradise Lost continues to pick up heavily just as the intro begins to fade out, with “Raised By Wolves” following after. With her brother in arms, Ellz, lending a super energetic and bar-filled verse. So many great tracks, it’s difficult to pick a standout. But this is ‘Merica, so if I had to pick, then Visions would be my shit. Like a young Pharrel with the hat to match. LeMieux pulling up as Chad Hugo. A real grade A cast was put together. Ellz, Father, Betty Dawl, KONA, & Argyle Bixby. The production done by LeMuieX. She got fucking Robert Gallardo for art direction. So to sum it all up for ya: IF YOU SAY THIS AINT FYE, YOU’RE A HATER. (stamped and approved by the 1995 Uncle Luke; don’t quote me)
