John Fifth ft. Deeno – Talkin’ Bout (Prod. Xane OTB)

John Fifth & Deeno released a visual for their latest collab. single titled “Talkin Bout.” Heavily influenced by their ties with Miami and NYC, in the track they wanna know what you’re talkin’ bout – a commonly used slang in NYC used to call out anyone’s b.s.! I like this track because it strongly highlights the Miami and NYC influence – something we get a sprinkle of from time to time these days in the up coming/underground rap music scene, so it’s refreshing to see artists like them pushing to be at the forefront. Song was produced by Xane OTB – visual was shot & edited by Dade2dayFilmz .

Danvhefner – goodbye (Dir. hiddenimagesdc)

Danvhefner released the visual to his latest single “goodbye” off of his most recent project Speak of the Devil (now available on all platforms!). The visual was shot by hiddenimagesdc and edited by yamovision. The DMV artist sends a message in the song about striving towards your goals and moving low-key, like a ninja so no one intervenes. The visual takes place in a parking-lot – looks like a scene from one of the Fast & Furious movies.

Phoenix Collective Prime Society releasing visual this Friday

The Phoenix, AZ Rap collective Prime Society was formed in 2016, when brothers Infin8 and J. Reid met the third member, Shy. Infin8 and J being blood brothers, the two were well aware of each other’s artistic abilities. Once Shy came along, the three clicked almost instantaneously and their collective passion for collaboration grew from there.
Their classical music training and playing in their father’s church played a substantial role in building their brand and helping each member tap into their individual voices to achieve a sound that is altogether their own. Shy has not only introduced singing to the group, but also serves as the Artistic Director, designing all of the group’s album artwork. Still continuing to build on their multitude of skills, Prime Society embodies what it means to be a lifelong advocate for well-rounded musical intelligence. The group’s music aims to unite sounds of the past with their own exclusive sound to produce a unique energy to the hip-hop community.
