PREMIERE: GlockyCashOnly – Ain’t It Mama? (ft. Sunny Side & Caleb Kai)

After dropping off Fine Marble, Miami artist GlockyCashOnly returns to Citrus Rap with new sounds. This time around, Glok recruits fellow South Floridian creatives Sunny Side collective (Sydney In Theory, JadedApe, Unkle Luc) and Caleb Kai for a lengthy track (over 12 minutes) that is both trippy and catchy. To anyone looking to get lost in a musical trance, look no further, as  GlockyCashOnly’s latest jam, “Ain’t It Mama?,” is definitely one to catch a vibe to.

Twelve’Len – Girl From Nowhere (Live)

Fresh off of gracing the Red Bull Sound Select stage alongside buzzing artists Pell (New Orleans) and GoldLink (DMV) in his home city of Miami, Twelve’Len is undoubtedly on a high right now. Things are looking up for this Carol City native and South Florida favorite as more of the music industry tastemakers and like-minded fans abroad are starting to pay attention and show their support—which is always a great sign.

Right around the time of the show, Twelve took some time to hit the lab and capture a live rendition of his Nick León-produced “Girl From Nowhere” as part of his recent video series. With assistance on the boards from ULT Worldwide representative DJ Chief Pound, Twelve’Len was able to catch a vibe in his element throughout this  memorable clip. Daye Jack ft. Denzel Curry & DP – Raw [Remix]

Miami’s very own Denzel Curry just hopped on the remix to “Raw” by 20-year-old Atlanta rapper/singer Daye Jack alongside VA Beach native and 300 Ent artist DP. The song was produced by Mike Elizondo, who is a multi-instrumentalist responsible for songs like “In Da Club” by 50 Cent and “The Real Slim Shady” by Eminem as Dr. Dre’s co-producer and right-hand-man in the studio. Just like those classics, “Raw” is an undeniably hard-hitting record filled with gritty bars that make for a timeless hip hop sound. Daye (pronounced “die-yay,”) is gearing up to release an album titled No Data this year, with “Raw” being the first single.

Kidd Adamz – Skrt Freestyle (Video)

You can’t slow Kidd Adamz down right now. The Miami artist is back again, returning with a new visual offering for his freestyle over “Skrt” directed by Ra Image. Be sure to also check out his “R2R” single featuring Kiddo Marv, which dropped last week.  His project Fweagovelli coming later this Spring. Watch the latest visual above.

Two of South Florida’s very own, Babatunde and Kidd Adamz, team up to deliver the visual for their newest collaboration “Take A Ride.” Shot by Wavylord, the visual centers on both artists as they emulate the hype surrounding this collaboration in scenes across the Miami area. At times there are fade-ins and fade-outs of the popular anime series Dragon Ball Z, yet it is with purpose as references to the anime series are embedded in the artists lyricism. Producer Bathing Montel does a solid job in creating anticipation before the beat rides out into its signature hard hitting high-energy tempo. Collaborations such as this one demonstrate why Southern Florida is a hotbed for up and coming artists and music.
