Miami’s very own Denzel Curry just hopped on the remix to “Raw” by 20-year-old Atlanta rapper/singer Daye Jack alongside VA Beach native and 300 Ent artist DP. The song was produced by Mike Elizondo, who is a multi-instrumentalist responsible for songs like “In Da Club” by 50 Cent and “The Real Slim Shady” by Eminem as Dr. Dre’s co-producer and right-hand-man in the studio. Just like those classics, “Raw” is an undeniably hard-hitting record filled with gritty bars that make for a timeless hip hop sound. Daye (pronounced “die-yay,”) is gearing up to release an album titled No Data this year, with “Raw” being the first single.
