SKUFL – THERE AINT NO

PRODUCER: SKUFL

Making new waves through South Florida for 2016, SKUFL drops his first track of the year “THERE AINT NO”. On this smooth self produced tune, SKUFL provides some mellow melodies enhancing his vocals with auto-tune as he ponders where he went wrong and why she never called him back. We’ve all been here at some point in our lives so we know where he’s coming from. You can definitely vibe out to this track during a long night when you get in your feelings so make some time to take a listen above. And since you’re already here go check out his last banger “Pussy Holiday“.

Chris Travis – The Ruined [Mixtape]

Chris Travis’ latest project The Ruined contains 14 tracks and only features Xavier Wulf and Bones. The project bangs from start to finish, stream above and check back for more from Chris Travis!

Premiere: Shahid – Young Jesus (Video)

Fresh off the release of his Verse 3: New Beginnings EP, Sarasota’s finest Shahid returns with another new visual for his Logic inspired freestyle, “Young Jesus.”  Flowing effortlessly over production from 6ix, Shahid holds his city down with some heavy bars on the track. In his own words, this is what he had to say about the cut:

“There’s a lot going on in Sarasota right now.  Even though it’s known for retirees, there’s a lot of young people moving in and the energy is starting to change. You know, the same thing that’s starting to happen in a lot of small cities around the country. I truly believe Sarasota is up next though; as far as the the talent and the music scene, because it’s such a beautiful place. My last visual “#SarasotaSound” hyped up the city.  However, everything isn’t so perfect. It’s a sweet & sometimes sour place. Remixing Logic’s song felt fitting for some things that I’ve had on my mind and wanted to speak out about pertaining to my city, and I’m sure anybody can relate. Oh, and “Young Jesus” was just a bold way of saying, Hi Hip-Hop, Shahid is here.”

Don’t sleep on Shahid! Check out the new visual above.

Max P – Hunnington Hotel [Mixtape]

by .

We’ve been eagerly awaiting the release of Max P’s project Hunnington Hotel since we heard his track “Bu$$in” last year. The rapper has now released the 13 track project which pretty much serves as the story of his childhood. Since it’s a more personal project Max P includes no features but has no problem delivering the heat all on his own, producers on the line up include Jay $plash, Danny Wolf, Serious Sounds, and of course AdamOnTheTrack. The project can relate to anyone who has had difficult upbringings but are still working hard to make a name for themselves, or just for anyone who enjoys good music. Enjoy the project above and be sure to watch Max’s visual for “8BALL” directed by Pablo Vasquez below.
