After an incredible amount of positive reception for the record, Pouya finally presents anxious fans with the official music video for his “Energy” single. The Gian Lo and Pouya-directed visuals portray Pouya’s presumed whip (Buick LeSabre?) getting lit to the Getter-produced record. Following the second chorus, the scenery takes an interesting turn, into a sketchy alley with a mysterious, dancing, cross-dressing vixen backing Pouya up as he nonchalantly raps to the camera. This is a rather refreshing change-up from the typical turn-up scenarios with hoes, drugs and guns that most rappers of his class are repetitively glorifying.
