If you could not already tell by his image, the Cincinnati rapping newcomer known as Lamb$ is a big fan of No Limit, sporting the gold grill, camo gear, and that iconic album artwork style as seen on projects as early as his Lamb$ 3000 mixtape. This major influence can be attested for in songs like “Percy”, where he proclaims Master P’s legendary status. The record had MishkaNYC claiming, “It was a 2014 interpretation of ‘Mr. Ice Cream Man.'” However, despite the nostalgia, the rapper holds his own unique style, and showcases is well on songs like “Digi Scale”, of which the remix recruited noteworthy names like Key!, Reese, and Tazo. Within the past year, the Madisonville native released a buzzworthy EP, entitled Fukk Karma, garnering nearly 50,000 plays off the strength of mainly himself, and a memorable A$AP Ant feature on the song “Worried.” While it is clear through his social media account handles, Lamb$ does not get much sleep, and despite that, it has paid off.
