Hurt Everybody – 2k47

by .

A few months ago the hard drive which contained all the music by the Hurt Everybody trio, leaving them to start from scratch. You’d think it would take an extended period of time to bounce back with a new project, but not in this case. Dropping their anticipated project 2k47 which is 14 tracks long and includes features from RIO, Khori4, Mick Jenkins, Twista and more. I was a little skeptical of how the project would sound when I heard that the project dropped because of how quick they were able to retaliate from the loss, I was wrong to have ever doubted it.  This isn’t your typical I just whipped this up real quick type of project, I don’t know how they did it but it’s a perfectly stringed and consistent body of work. Enjoy 2k47 above and head over to HurtEverybody.com to download 100 Hurt Everybody songs and this project.

SupaSupa Bwe

Usually when someone loses years of work, it takes them a while to recuperate but in Chicago’s Supa Bwe’s case, he wasted no time release two EP’s in the course of a week. DEAD AGAIN and DEAD AGAIN PT. 2 included production by Sammi Beatz, Zen Zan, Mullato Beats, Samurai Sim and Supa Bwe himself.  I know what most people would think at this point, how can good content be created in such a short span of time? I don’t know the answer to that, but the Hurt Everybody rapper did it, both EP’s are tight and nothing less than impressive. Definitely aux chord music, if you don’t believe me listen to both of the two EP’s above.
