Father – Papicodone [EP]

by .

Fresh from announcing his first headlining tour, Awful Records’ Father decided to drop a new EP titled Papicodone. One to politely ask you to stop wearing and making fake Versace, the other where he talks about trying to make a getaway.  Both “Please Stop Making Fake Versace” and “Getaway” were produced by Father himself and provide a hazy, simple but hypnotizing beat. Father plans to add more records to this EP over time so expect more heat from the Atlanta artist coming soon.

MiamiMarci – Young (ft. Jace & Curtis Williams)

by .

PRODUCER: MiamiMarci
UPCOMING PROJECT: Prodigal Son
RELEASE DATE: TBA

Bringing music that I can kick back and vibe to, MiamiMarci calls on Two9 members Jace and Curtis Williams for his new single “Young.” The track was self-produced by MiamiMarci which provides mellow flows and melodious rhymes should be expected on his upcoming project Prodigal Son. The rapper also tweeted “you can’t do what they do, or be who they are, so be you. #ProdigalSon is what we’ll be riding around to down here, and lots of places.” which makes me wonder what original content we can hear from the artist. Stay tuned for the project and find out on CITRUSRAP.COM when it drops.

Jazz Cartier – Always Up To Something (ft. DCF)

by .

DIRECTOR: Jon Riera
VIDEO PRODUCED BY: Rinku DasGupta
PRODUCER: Lantz
PROJECT: Marauding In Paradise | Download

Less than a month ago Jazz Cartier dropped his project Marauding In Paradise and it was quite a pleasing piece of work that can still be easily played from start to finish today. Providing new content, Jazz Cartier drops a video for a track that wasn’t on the project titled “Always Something.” This visual piece is quite captivating as Cartier goes on a journey pursing a girl in a in a darkly lit karaoke lounge, which matches the alluring nature of the track. Watch the cinematic master piece above.

Seers – Yin (ft. J.K. The Reaper)

by .

PRODUCER: Rich Beatz
ENGINEERED BY: Kenny Wizard
ARTWORK BY: Cory Ecker

Rapper Seers who dubs himself as an artist that’s somewhere between Lil B and Andre 3000, has dropped my new favorite track. The Rich Beatz produced track “Yin” isn’t a typical beat you’d expect a rapper to spit rhymes over, it sounds like something from a kung fu movie fight scene, but nevertheless Seers kills the track. C9 member J.K. The Reaper also finesses his way into this track with such an articulate flow that’ll leave you in awe. Stream this single above and let me know what you think.

Teddy Blow – Irregular (ft. Skie Greene)

by .

PRODUCER: N/A

Atlanta and Florida linked up to make a hot track in “Ir-Reg-u-lar”.  Relax Rekords’ Teddy Blow and Skie Greene talk about something the majority of us want and that’s blowing racks. Both rappers go in on this track with their drugged out flows and crafted a song that’ll set you in the mood to turn up.
