Yoshi Thompkins – Professor Stone 2055 [Freestyle]

PRODUCER: Ronny J
MIXED BY: Sydney In Theory & Basic Pro
UPCOMING PROJECT: Yoshi
RELEASE DATE: TBA

C9‘s Yoshi Thompkins teams up with producer Ronny J to take us to year 2055 with this new freestyle. Having rapped along other Florida artists such as Denzel Curry, SDotBraddy and Mike Dece; Yoshi lays nothing but hot bars on any track he’s on. I would keep my eyes on the South Florida native’s moves this year.  Listen to the new single above.

Erick Arc Elliott – ARCstrumentals Vol. 1

by .

PRODUCED & RECORDED BY: The Architect
MIXED BY: Joel Gutman & The Architect
ARTWORK BY: Brian Butler

After much anticipation Erick Arc Elliot of Flatbush Zombies has released Arcstrumentals Vol. 1.   This tape features 35 minutes of heartfelt jazz, r&b and hip-hop all together. Being his first solo project since his 2011 release, Almost Remembered, this tape is impressive, to say the very least. Not too long before releasing his project to the public, Erick released a limited addition package including: Arcstrumentals on a cassette tape (with an exclusive mp3 download code), a t-shirt designed by him, a “222” patch, and a jigsaw puzzle he hand created.

Having a very mellow tone to it this tape ironically provides nothing less than fun, funky vibes. Finding myself dancing to these sounds not too long after pressing play, I can say that this tape is easily one of my favorites and will hope and pray for a Vol. 2.
