Juelz Santana “Mic Check” was poppin’ back in ’05 and now OG Maco has reinvented the original to add his own bold touch to it. “Handle Me” produced by Spliff Huxtable & Maco Mattox features Maco’s usual fierce layers of vocals while citing lyrics like “Excuse all this flexin I’m doing don’t lie bitch I know you done guessed it.” It has yet to have been confirmed whether or not we’ll hear this track on his upcoming album Children Of The Rage, but for now enjoy “Handle Me” above while we await the album which drops later on this year. If you want to hear more OG Maco in a more mellow tone be sure to stream his recent feature on BJ the Chicagos Kid’s “That Girl” here.
Just a week ago SolomonDaGod dropped off this new 2-in-1 single titled “ICEGAF/John Lennon.” Shortly after, he dropped the remix of “ICEGAF” which featured Allan Kingdom on the single. Now, the Florida rapper is back with the official visual for “John Lennon.” Although the video is pretty simple, it’s well worth the watch as we see Solomon channel his inner rock star that we all know he is. Watch the dark visual offering above and be sure to pick up his latest body of work, Jedidiah, at the link provided above.
Max P has been featured on some of the hottest tracks to come out of Florida, he’s been on Daddy Pill$z “You Know It” and one of the waviest tracks right now “Surrrf” with Wifisfuneral, SkyXXX, and Keez. Now the South Florida pimpin, Orlando flexin rapper “Came Up” on a new video directed by Cleigh Visuals which has some pretty dope animations. The future for the young rapper seems promising, I can’t wait to see what he does next as both he and the Florida rap scene emerges.
DIRECTORS: Ryan Staake & Pomp & Clout ALBUM: Who’s Gonna Get Fucked First?
Awful Records very own Father has presented a father’s day gift for all his kids (fans.) “Who’s Gonna Get Fucked First?” although this isn’t the type of video you’d show your kids, as Father would say it’s “brilliant fuck shit masterpiece.” The Ryan Staake and Pomp & Clout-directed video features extreme close-ups of both the female and male anatomy, not showing anything too graphic. This track is featured on Fathers album Who’s Gonna Get Fucked First? which is available for purchase on iTunes. Also be sure to catch Father along with Playboi Carti, KeithCharles Spacebar, and Slug Christ on his ‘Cry $$$’ Tour which kicks off next week in Miami. Travis Scott provides the real ragers with a little “Antidote” for their summer. He first premiered the track in Dallas over the weekend, and had everyone on their toes to listen to the full length version. This track lived up to the positive connotation surrounding it and has a beat anyone can vibe to, which isn’t surprising because La Flame never disappoints. We won’t hear this track on his upcoming album Rodeo, but it’ll hold us down while we await the project. Be sure to catch Travis Scott in Tampa later on this Summer when he headlines the first annual TAKEOFFxLANDING festival. Stream the new WondaGurl & Eastbound-produced single above.
SkyXXX of Orlando’s collective Swamp Posse channels his inner Shy Glizzy for his latest visual “Sky Glizzy.” Adding his own flair to Glizzy’s track “Awesome” you find Sky squaded up, eating fried chicken out front of a local spot, and some dope chop & screwed effects towards the end. SkyXXX took to twitter to say “Been working hard as fcuk. Gettin fat and ugly. Can’t wait for the day we drop the Speed Ep.” Although there’s no official date of the release I’m definitely excited, but for now let’s enjoy “Sky Glizzy” above.

Big Sean revisited his latest album Dark Sky Paradise to give his most heartfelt track “One Man Can Change The World” an equally somber visual to accompany it. The track is a dedication to his late grandmother Mildred V. Leonard whom had very admirable attributes, she served as one of the first black female captains in World War II, later becoming one of the first black female police officers in Detroit and continuing to work as a teacher and counselor in the Detroit public school system for 30 years. In the black and white visual you can see how personal Sean got on this track and video and what a big part in Big Seans life his grandmother played. Stream the visual above.
