Hurt Everybody – 2k47

by .

A few months ago the hard drive which contained all the music by the Hurt Everybody trio, leaving them to start from scratch. You’d think it would take an extended period of time to bounce back with a new project, but not in this case. Dropping their anticipated project 2k47 which is 14 tracks long and includes features from RIO, Khori4, Mick Jenkins, Twista and more. I was a little skeptical of how the project would sound when I heard that the project dropped because of how quick they were able to retaliate from the loss, I was wrong to have ever doubted it.  This isn’t your typical I just whipped this up real quick type of project, I don’t know how they did it but it’s a perfectly stringed and consistent body of work. Enjoy 2k47 above and head over to HurtEverybody.com to download 100 Hurt Everybody songs and this project.

PRODUCER: Chaki Zulu
MIXED/MASTERED BY: Chaki Zulu (HuskyStudio)
VIDEO DIRECTED BY: Motice Vision, KASAI YUSUKE (YAR)
ARTWORK: Rei Nakanishi

Recently 18-year old Swedish rapper Yung Lean has been on a brief hiatus barley dropping music. The whereabouts of Yung Lean were unknown, until he decided to drop the “Tokyo Drift.” When he dropped the track, he dropped both the single and video for it making his hiatus more understandable. The video features Yung Lean turning up with old and new friends and even Japanese verses, which I don’t understand but they sure do sound fire. Enjoy the visual above and to download the track click here.

Fetty Wap & Remy Boyz – Welcome To The Zoo

by .

PRODUCER: Zaytoven

If you haven’t noticed yet Fetty Wap has been dropping singles nonstop, some of them being “Boomin”, “A Couple Bands” and “Sumn Quick.”   Once again linking up with Remy Boyz for “Welcome to the Zoo,” Fetty and Remy Boyz bring nothing but heat to this track spitting bars right after another, which with their streak doesn’t come as a surprise. With Zaytoven handling the production you know you’re in for an 808 experience. Stream the track above and check back for new Fetty joints, which will more than likely happen sooner rather than later.

Skepta – Back Then

by .

PRODUCER: Plastician

London rapper Skepta made some waves overseas with his song ”Shut Down” and now he’s teamed up with producer Plastician to bring us some new heat.  Once this track starts and you hear the Mike Jones “Still Tippin” sample, you know Skepta is about to drop some serious bars. The heavy Houston influence and grime in this track balances out perfectly to create a banger that’s probably going to be played by DJ’s all across the US. Enjoy the track above & look out for the next track the grime rapper drops.

Yung Gud – Monster [Remix]

by .

Before his album Dreams Worth More Than Money, Meek Mill had a street single that had everyone hyped, “Monster.” Now Sad BoysYung Gud has dropped a remix for the track where he added on backgrounds voices and a more hazy rhythm than what we’re used to hearing Meek on. This remix is fairly different than the original but it’s worth the listen to enjoy, stream above.
