by .

PRODUCER: Yung Sherman
LATEST ALBUM: Unknown Memory | iTunes

The TV network Adult Swim has officially started releasing singles from this year’s singles program that they have going on. Artists included in the lineup are Danny Brown, Clams Casino, Flying Lotus, Skrillex and many more. Now on week five of the series, we get a new cut this week by Yung Lean. Keeping us cool in July with his track “Crystal Clear Ice” which starts off with a ghostly, celestial beat  provided by fellow sad boy Yung Sherman and takes about a minute for Yung Lean to actually begin to rap, who compliments the icy synths provided on the track. Stream/Download the track above.

Father – Fake AF [Remix] (ft. Playboi Carti)

by .

PRODUCER: Father

Recently Father, Playboi Carti, Slug Christ and KeithCharles Spacebar kicked off their Cry $$$ Tour in Miami. And if you attended the show or tuned into our Snapchat, you know how crazy it can get. Now providing something else fans can get hyped to, Playboi Carti has jumped on Father’s track “Fake AF” adding his own verse talking about snatching hoes and a white bitch turned up off the yayo, complimenting Fathers more steady, witty chorus exceptionally well. Check out the remix above and let me know what you think in the comment section below.

OG Maco – Lord Have Mercy

by .

PRODUCERS: Ryan Ryu Alexy & D.K.A.D.
UPCOMING ALBUM: Children Of The Rage
RELEASE DATE: Summer 2015

OG Maco’s debut album Children of the Rage is on the way! With teaser tracks dropping like “Bless Me” and “Handle Me”, and now “Lord Have Mercy.”  Maco says these tracks are intended to give everyone an idea of the direction of the album and may or may not be on the final product. The beat might sound familiar as it was also used during the XXL Cypher, with production credit to Ryan Ryu Alexy and D.K.A.D. With that being said, I’m anxious to hear what the final product will sound like, and see whether or not these tracks will make the cut.

Gunplay – Poppin’ Freestyle

by .

UPCOMING ALBUM: Living Legend
RELEASE DATE: July 31

With his project Living Legend set to come out at the end of this month Gunplay is back with yet another freestyle!  This time the rapper goes in on Rico Richie’s beat for “Poppin” to add more freestyles to his collection he’s recently compiled recently. Just like the previous tracks, he murks the track this time delivering more cutthroat lyrics saying “you the type to wife em, you the type to save a hoe ima make her walk the bay then fetch a nigga payroll brand new gun, Benz one day old.” Since Gunplay has been going so hard on these freestyles it makes me that much more anxious to hear Living Legend, check back for anymore releases before the album drops.

Masego x Medasin – The Pink Polo [EP]

by .

PURCHASE EP: Masego x Medasin – The Pink Polo EP

Film Noir released a Masego x Medasin an EP titled The Pink Polo. This project is beautiful, to say the least. Medasin handles most of the production, while Masego also assists on production; he also plays the saxophone, as well as adding vocals. Masego told Billboard magazine, who premiered the project “I played sax and trap-scatted over Medasin’s beats; its ignorance meets elegance.” I wouldn’t give this project an exact genre but if I were to label it something it would definitely have been something along those lines, if you can appreciate different, euphoric sound and are looking for a project that will lift your spirit then you shouldn’t look any further. The summer is still young The Pink Polo is something you’ll want to add to your playlists, enjoy above.

Meek Mill – Jump Out The Face (ft. Future)

by .

DIRECTOR: Spike Jordan
PRODUCERS: Southside & Metro Boomin
ALBUM: Dreams Worth More Than Money | iTunes

Now that Meek Mills sophomore album Dreams Worth More Than Money is out and available to purchase and it’s only right that we get some visuals from the album. Meek’s track “Jump Out My Face” featuring Future was bound to be an instant favorite, especially with Metro Boomin & Southside linking up for the production on the track. Spike Jordan directs the video in which Meek and Future meet up in the bando where they’re obviously trapping with their homies, including Rick Ross, all the while being watched and plotted against by the feds. Luckily, the rappers are smart enough to know what’s going on and are able to vacate before the feds even arrive. Enjoy the visual above.
