Recently Curren$y went on Twitter and hinted that he would be dropping a new EP, Cathedral. Well Curren$y most definitely came through with that heat! The project holds 7 tracks all produced by Chase N. Cashe and a feature by Raheem DeVaughn. Spitta also stated that this project didn’t exist until the day before it dropped, crazy huh? Yesterday SkyXXX and Keez, dropped a visual for their track “5y” via ElevatorMag. The Nassacre directed video features the rappers with their fellow Swamp Posse members chillin’ in a laundromat, breaking out their flip phones and goofing around. Gunplay recently dropped his debut album Living Legend and has also released a video for his track “White Bitch.” The intro to this Dre Films-directed video features former Cocaine Cowboy Mickey Munday making some plays via phone call which ends with Munday saying “you’ll love this white bitch.” I’m not sure what rappers use to represent cocaine in their videos, maybe it’s baking soda or maybe it’s actual cocaine but in this video Gunplay uses an actual girl to represent the drug, he even dives into a shark infested ocean to save his precious package.
