Stef Windsor – Otherside Forever (Album Stream)

IMG_0618

On Stef Windor’s latest drop, “Otherside Forever” we find him alone with no features, spitting and crooning effortlessly in a very lyrical fashion. He describes his personal story, coming up from literally nothing and now watching his dreams come true over the production from DG Beats, DKXL aka DeadLighters, Tone Jonez, and others.  Stef even ripped a beat from Kanye West circa 97 for the raw version of  “Moons,” featured on the album.

In 2017 alone, Stef has accomplished more than ever on his own, independently. With over 30,000 streams now, attention from multiple record labels, and the completion of his second project, we see clearly that the people are getting hip….. The Virginia boy aint so ashy no more.

Jevon Doe – “24” Ft. Kron

Returning home from his first trip to Houston, since Hurricane Harvey hit Texas, Atlantic rapper Jevon Doe hits the ground running with his new single “24” dedicated to his hometown.

The track is an ode of sorts to all the screwed and chopped music from H-Town that influenced Jevon Doe when he was coming up chasing his dreams learning to rap as a kid. It’s a familiar, yet fresh Hip-Hop sound that meshes perfectly with the choppy soulful production for this homage to the land of candy paint, DJ Screw and UGK.

“’24’ was a song I decided to make to pay homage to my city. On the track I talk about two legendary rappers from Houston, Big Hawk and Dj Screw,” Jevon explained.

“Throughout the whole song I want my fans to feel like they’re cruising through Houston, the top down and a bad chick sitting on the passenger side”

Most recently Jevon Doe’s song “Name” found success online receiving critical acclaim for several key influencers and publications online (TheSource, AllHipHop, CountryRapTunes, DirtyGloveBastard, MissInfo)

The success online is nothing new for Jevon Doe as his video for “Ran Out” with Kap G received recognition from XXL and Mass Appeal among many others this past Summer.

Currently Jevon Doe is being A&R’d by famed Atlantic A&R duo Shawn Barron and Gary Leon who are widely credited with helping develop the careers of Ty Dolla $ign and Kap G.

Rasta Papi – Why You Hate Lil Bruh

Born in Brooklyn, NY, but raise in Atlanta, GA, Rasta Papi is a multi-talented artist/producer/engineer. With his stock rising, especially after the release of his collaboration with Blac Youngsta (watch “Hold Me Down” here), Papi unveils his new visual for “Why You Hate Lil Bruh.” Taking care of the production himself, Rasta Papi flexes over his personally-tailored instrumental as he rises above the haters and defiantly dismisses the naysayers.
