Wifisfuneral – Luv Me Never

by .

PRODUCER: HenryDaher
UPCOMING PROJECT: When Hell Falls | January 27th
PREMIERED BY: Fader | Read

As we’ve known for a while now, Wifisfuneral has been on a steady rise to the top, ever since he proclaimed himself as the “Light Skin Trick Daddy”. That was a little over two years ago and he’s since made his way to and past his peers. Today Wifisfuneral, alongside the production of HenryDaher and with the help of Fader, premiered a thoughtful and subjective track for your soul. “Luv Me Never” is one of those pure tales of devotion and entrustment. Wifisfuneral uses this medium to create a commandment for loyalty, one that this generation heartily needs.

The Palm Beach emcee elaborates in his conversation with Fader:

“I heard the beat when I was in my hotel room and the first line just came to me,” Wifisfuneral told The FADER over email “I had an idea about what I should talk about. The whole point of the song was to talk form two different point of views: my point of view during the verses and a significant other’s point of view during the hook. The hook comes from a saying my mom would tell my dad when they were always arguing growing up. I think the only way I could even feel confident about talking about the subject would be talking about my personal experiences. These are hints and pieces from several different stories, not one specific example. I want the consumer to manifest the story, relate to it, and feel like I’m talking about their experience.”
Wifisfuneral (Fader, Dec 2016)

Even with there only being a few weeks left of 2016, “Luv Me Never” surely should be mentioned as one of the best songs to arrive this year. This should hold the world over until January 27th, when his highly anticipated project When Hell Falls finally arrives.
