Although she’s on the other side of the country, one of our favorite Miami musicians, Native Youth, has FINALLY blessed us with visuals for her summer blockbuster of a love psalm, “Understatement”. Featured on her sophomore album Second Chances and featuring one of Florida’s biggest supporting acts in the arts, a standout artist himself, JK The Reaper. Behind the eyes and mind of Alex Vazquez and the inspiration of monotone photographer, Robert Mapplethorpe. The duo create a vibe of blanketed seduction, that made for an elegant and charming performance. Just like the audio. This track is like that electric moment just before a “moment”. You know what I mean. Native Youth is is breaking another shell as an artist as she takes on Los Angeles, but let it be know, she was destined to be a star. “Understatement” is just one of many proofs.

The wait is finally over. A$AP Lotto (Florida’s A$AP Mob affiliate) has dropped a long overdue video for his single “Smooth City”. Merging lyrical wordplay, storytelling, and high-level cinematography to create a feature film, this is not one to be overlooked. Giving you a look into the cutthroat South Florida lifestyle “Smooth City” tells the story of guns, drugs, and warranted revenge.

Take in as much as you can. “Smooth City” has a complex duality that should be gone over multiple times by the viewer. One thing is for sure, we will be looking forward to what A$AP Lotto has to bring in the future, but as of now dive into his new music video “Smooth City” and enjoy.

LFT Solis – BOOF (ft. Zae The Philosopher)

The Central Florida ground stomper and Left Field Theory representer, Solis, has returned to the forefront with another sauced up banger for the month of October, with “BOOF” featuring his rhythmic and melodic LFT brother Zae The Philosopher.
