Last month, upcoming South Florida artist King Kev presented his latest 8-track EP titled Makevelli 2. The Miramar native delivers an original and diverse project filled with bangers as well as poignant, introspective tracks. The Makevelli 2 EP is a must listen for all Florida fans of Hip-Hop. Born in Jamaica and bred in Miami, Reggae/Dancehall fusion artist Popeye Caution got his start at the early age of 16 dancing his way through the vibrant Miami night club scene. Gaining popularity in the Dancehall world performing on tours for Elephant Man, Mavado, and Beenie Man, Popeye Caution fronted one of the most popular dance crews in South Florida called Caution. Incorporating the rhythm and dancing of the islands in his music coupled with his positive vibes and sultry rhythms, it’s not hard to see that the young upcomer is simply having fun with the music. Here is his latest visual release for “Bottle Girls Gone Wild” which was mostly filmed on location at the world famous King of Diamonds in Miami, Florida, with cameos from Young Money’s Mack Maine along with many local Miami models, dancers, vixens and recording artists.
Stretch Strongarm is 27 year old emerging rapper from St. Augustine, Florida, now based in Daytona. Stretch’s name stems from his bigger than average appearance standing tall at 6’7”. He has established himself as a promising young face in the Florida rap scene and has no plans of stopping there. His style is marked highly by his diversity which allows him to sound like he belongs on any type of beat while still remaining a strong lyricist.
American Muscle is his debut EP and his first official work he has released. It contains 7 tracks, 5 of which were self-produced by Stretch. From Miami comes Cush Kan, Homestead’s number 1 hustler. Last month, the Miami rapper dropped The Free Album, a mixtape made of entirely original tracks from fellow Miami collective, XYZA. On the album, Cush orates growing up in Miami’s forgotten south land and what it means to see so many of this city’s nefarious characters come and go in this many hued melting pot. It wasn’t easy, but he has hope for the future. Like most, his next move is to get rich; he has hipster white kid’s beats and a will to win.

Poe Boy Music Group and Orlando native YT Triz gets some assistance from heavy hitters, Lil Wayne and Rick Ross, for his “Vamonos” single that is set to appear on his upcoming release, Dysfunctional. The J Rock-produced single is one of the hardest singles to come out of Orlando in a long time, it’s somewhat refreshing. Even though YT has some big names on this track, he looks to be holding his own when it comes to delivery. Check it out above.

Miami rapper Pryme Rothstein drops a new mixtape titled TEC 2: The Effort Continues, showcasing his ability to freestyle and also produce good music. Pryme‘s chances in this game are improving with each and every record he releases.
