Alem Bey – God’s Speech

Tennessee upstart Alem Bey has released his newest track in the form of “God’s Speech.” It’s a chilled-out, poetic track from Alem, who’s been working on a lot of content as of late, and is ready to unload it to the world. It leans more on the side of spoken word poetry, with lots of voice inflections and clever rhymes littered throughout.

Brandon Gix recently underwent a name change, and ushers in the era of Brandon Gix with his newest track, titled “I Got It.” Produced by OG Abi, Brandon effortlessly flows over the melodic instrumental that marries with his verses nicely. Kojo & Uno Hype open up the vault today to let loose a new collaboration from the duo, titled “Askin’.” Kojo lays down an uptempo, hard-hitting instrumental that fits with Uno’s gritty and energetic style well. Yet again with with another #MauiMondays, Maui Max drops “You” for his female following. The track is produced by LaCoMusic. The jazz groove with the saxophone is really kick back. Maui is known for giving his audience kick back music. Chill out with your special with with this one.

Matt McGhee lets loose the visual set for “Flipmode,” a Busta Rhymes-inspired track that was produced by Soulection signee LAKIM. It’s an uptempo, confident track from McGhee, who has been quietly piecing together some dope projects. He’s one of the most promising upcomers that the DMV has to offer, and is building a nice buzz as we near the end of 2015.
