With the official video for “Waiting for You” still fresh in our minds, Kelechi shares a brand new song. “On Me” was inspired by a motivating conversation he had with Jidenna on his “85 to Africa Tour.” Radiating confidence and self-awareness on this Afrobeats infused jam, it’s no wonder why this is Kelechi’s favorite song off the album. “It’s about stepping into one’s greatness. I had a conversation with Jidenna on tour and he told me: ‘There’s no stars, or opener on this tour. It’s on YOU to decide how fans walk away feeling about you.’ It’s some real chief shit. This song feels like a show night on tour. From opener to after party,” Kelechi shares with us.
