RealPeopleRecognize – The Primo Tape (Project)

RealPeopleRecognize, aka RPR, are Miami’s newest collective to take aim at the rap game’s throne and with their latest project, The Primo Tape, this is for sure a shot that won’t be forgotten.  A full body of work that acts as a teaser to what feels like something bigger in the near future. RPR relentlessly tears apart the music game with 18, yet heavily melodically expressive and weighty tracks.

A familial presence all throughout the project, due to the message/theme behind the project. RealPeopleRecognize are the perfect deliverers of surreal rap, with a hint of their souls in each lyric. Vivid tales of love lost, turmoil, money making and triumph. Like a bizarre hybrid of rap, falsetto notes and a psychological thriller flick. This could REALLY be the score to something of that description!

For this very situation, RPR got their entire family and next of kin together to give us something to kick off our Fall with. Artist and producers such as John-E, Krispy Kreemz, JM $teez, Chum, Delvxlle, Mike AP, Chacon, Asal, Yung Papi, Franko LeFlame, Palbo, Shicken & Trop DaVinci all giving a dreamlike ambiance to the project, each in their own style.

The introduction is a short, yet intense experience, titled “Party at Chum’s”. The latter called “In The Cut” is a CitrusRap favorite. A hypnotic hook and heartfelt verse that forces you to sing along. “Kiss My Glock” is a brash, hard hitting heater, sure to turn any party up. With an assortment of 18 tracks and all are as hard as the last, it’s impossible to pick and pull out of this pot. It’ll be best for you to do as we say and play The Primo Tape in it’s entirety. Back to back to back to back.

Today is no day different from any other day when we tell you to keep your eyes and ears locked onto someone that we feature. The Primo Tape is a poignant masterpiece by RealPeopleRecognize. Don’t just use the links above to stream this project, be sure to share buttons it as well and gift as many people as possible with this great and power packed music.
