Sylvan Lacue – Emeryville (Video)

by .

PRODUCER: Linzi Jai
DIRECTOR: Jonathan Benavente
CINEMATOGRAPHER: Nick Mahar

About a month ago Sylvan Lacue dropped his impressive project, Far From Familiar and is now back on our pages with a new visual! “Emeryville” is a heartfelt track whose visual treatment received a range of vivid imagery and vibrant colors. According to Sylvan:

“The video’s essentially about chasing the woman of your dreams. It’s this perfect idea of the perfect girl in a perfect place that you can see, but never seem to get to. In the end, she finds you, just when you give up, and forces you back to reality. Which essentially means, she exists in real life, not just your dreams.#WiseUp

And the visual above can perfectly depict just that, play above and be sure to stream Far From Familiar here!

$hun – A Million / Shine No More

$hun makes a return to our airwaves today dropping off a new freestyle in the form of “A Million/Shine No More.” Tapping the 1997 DJ Premier-created instrumental that Jay-Z used for “A Million/Rhyme No More”, $hun gives fans a modern-day rework to the old-timey beat. The freestyle finds the young emcee reminiscing on old chicks and crazy moments with the homies, making for the perfect segue to tap J.Greer on the assist.

Gaitan – Vices Ft. Turk (Music Video)

As a man who enjoys the “simple things” in life, Gaitán has indeed experienced many Vices in pursuit of someone to love. In his debut visual release featuring fellow Bay Area artist, Turk, Gaitán serenades that special someone in his life, all the while performing each piece of instrument heard in the background, on his own. Despite what all others think of the “love” they’ve built with one another, Gaitán melodically explains that he lives his life for whatever & whomever he chooses to live for. Through this sensual vibe, the R&B crooner makes it clear to his lovely lady that he could care less about what anyone may say.. Come to terms with those vices.

Elder K – You Got Me Fucked Up (Video)

SHOT BY: MarsMarsMars

Elder K drops the visual for his track “You Got Me Fucked Up.” Shot by MarsMarsMars, the camera pans on a crouched Elder K drinking a bottle in the opening scene. This is a precursor for the intoxicating beat and flow that follows as he voices his annoyance to critics. With claims that he isn’t about the culture, Elder K reminds them nobody is pulling up to their shows, thus rendering their opinion invalid. Yet he doesn’t stop there as he fires back at those who claiming 305 but are living out in Los Angeles. Maybe its the alcohol talking.  Regardless, Elder K delivers a statement for his critics to come correct in this visual.
