If you haven’t been put on to SKUFL by now then you definitely need to stop sleeping. The South Florida musical powerhouse handles all of his work, writing, producing, and mixing everything himself. After kicking the year off with his sensual track “THERE AINT NO”, he returns with a 2-track dropoff Black Release 1 – GOODBYE MY OLD FRIEND, GOODBYE. On both tracks, “DO WHAT I WANT” and “BLU HUNNIDS”, SKUFL captivates listeners with energetic production and melodic verses. However, he still manages to give each track it’s own unique sound giving you two different vibes to zone out to. The 19-year-old rapper from Wichita, Kansas has been making headway for himself since coming to Florida in August. His last single “Pretty Penny” gained a lot of traction with over 8,000 plays in the first two days following its release along with radio play from 4 different stations. Moe Waveyy dropped off “Dinner at 8” last year and has been hard at work ever since. With a new EP that is, his upcoming endeavor is titled No Love will be released later this year but to be fair, he’s dropped a bonus track off of the project! “Honor” is a very jazz influenced track, and has a very eccentric sound, but let me tell you it’s pretty beautiful. Judging from this track, it seems as though Waveyy is going to come through with a fire project, which i wouldn’t have doubted either way. Press play on “Honor” above.

Kirby Maurier provides us the visual for her track “Sweet Potato Pie” off her debut album Doing The Most. Her hypnotizing vocals and melodies are the signature staple in this visual as throughout her debut album which was one of the highest selling indie R& B albums in the South Atlantic region for 2015. Being a musician since age 11, the dedication to her craft has earned her a nomination for the GRAMMY Amplifier Program amongst thousands of entrants. The Miami R & B singer now looks to advance her career with the opportunity to record with a GRAMMY winning producer, film a professional caliber music video with a celebrated director, and perform onstage at numerous live music events. She along with other nominees will be introduced at this year’s SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas where they will showcase their talent to thousands of attendees.
