UPCOMING ALBUM: For The Time Being
From her first EP Sakura dropping earlier this year in May, South Florida artist Venus Amor has been putting in mad work such as featuring off a track from SKYXXX’s (member from Swamp Posse) recent EP Her titled “WASSUP”, and also by doing a freestyle to PARTYNEXTDOOR & Travi$ Scott banger single “No Feelings“, but today Venus releases another smooth single “Drink To This [Intro]”. Just by the first listen, her serene yet angelic voice compliments the dark melody of the single which will instantly have you hooked automatically and probably copping a bottle of Hennessy for yourself by the end of the night. Amor recently announced on Twitter about some updates on her upcoming album For The Time Being.
“Honestly, this mixtape might turn into an album. I keep adding more tracks and they are all records! We’ll see…. You all can decide. It went from a 4 track EP to a 7 track mixtape… And now I’m feeling it can be an album. Yo this is mad crazy!”
So you can definitely expect to hear some more work from the lovely Venus Amor. We can’t wait to listen to the final masterpiece of For The Time Being (which will release towards the end of October) but in the meantime listen to her new single “Drink To This [Intro]” and let us know what you think of this gem.
