Florida based hip hop artist, AC Smitty, is developing a rapid buzz with his latest mixtape project, The Growth. Many compare Smitty‘s stoner laid back style combined with his brain provoking punchlines to mainstream artist such as Drake and Curren$y. AC Smitty grew up in Carver Ranches, Florida, a small city about 15 minutes away from the home of South Florida rappers Rick Ross and Gunplay. Although he isn’t labeled as the ordinary gangster rapper, the street life is nothing foreign to the artist, which he clearly displays in his music. The artist initially gained attention from record labels after releasing his first solo mixtape single “Balling”.
