If you haven’t heard of who Cherele is, let me give you a little introduction. She’s part of Florida’s rap collective Pay Up! Game. Cherele’s flows are silky and you’ll instantly become infatuated with the way she plays with her music vocally. Earlier this year the vocalist debuted her first album Paradise Lost via FACT Mag, which included features by ELLZ, Betty Dawl, Argyle Bixby, KONA, and Father. Last we heard of Cherele was when she released her music video for her track “Vi$ions,” now she returns to our pages with a gritty new track titled “Wine Drunk.” Collaborating with producer LeMieuX for this track, Cherele kills the beat with her abstract flow; the layers of instrumentals also help to make the track something well worth the listen.
