YFP – Cruise (Music Video)

PostMod Film House director LVCHLD, and Virginia’s own Young Fresh Prince (YFP), are back at it again with the cinematic visuals.

The duo is releasing their second annual ode to 4/20 with a new visual, “Cruise”. Last year around this time, they released an abstract visual entitled “A Smokers Song,” which debuted on WSHH and The Source. This year, they give us a different look and feel with this visual piece.

The video takes place “Somewhere Warm,” no pun intended, and is a very clean and smooth visual with great transitions, bold colors, and a very captivating intro that highlights and previews upcoming work from this collective. The visual takes you on a cool journey through the YFP Lifestyle with no true performance scenes, just candid B-roll shots of YFP living and doing his thing.

Relax, vibe ou,t and just cruise. Look for more in the future from these two visual trendsetters. Look out for the On God short film Summer ’16.

unnamed

As the buzz on 17 year old Delaware native Lil West continues to grow louder, he releases the first official single “DON’T! Just Stop” featuring Dylan Brady.  Lil West described the new song to Fader:

“The dreamy bells and dark/melodic outro are all thanks to Dylan. The first version was different ’cause I was on the hook with no adlibs. I wasn’t feeling my version though, so I hit Dylan up for some assistance, and we spent at least a week working on it and then boom!”

The infectious song was produced by TM88 & Dylan Brady and will be found on Lil West’s upcoming EP.
