Big Kaino returns with his second visual to ”On Me”. Following up on his initial hit song, “ASSHOLE”. After getting his first deal offer in 2018, with this visual plus more coming soon, heʼs applying pressure to put the world on high-alert of what’s to come and the new sound heʼs bringing to the game.
In a recent interview he refers to it as “Fun-Bully Music” but it is reminiscent of a sub-version of Trap-Metal & Chicago Drill music combined, in my opinion. This high-energy single gives a deeper look into the underground Florida artist, telling us who BigKaino is. In this song he is proclaiming that he is going to make it because he put the pressure of doing so on himself. With this high-energy, horse-powered video, it is clear to say he’s is activated.
Check out the latest BigKaino visual, edited & directed by ItsImaniB, below.
Florida is blossoming into a creative hotbed of it’s own. Following the lead of the well-verse South Florida, we have Euro Trill who is an artist that’s bound to leave a legacy much further than the state lines with her up & coming mixtape, plus other projects that are soon to come. You may have heard of Euro Trill from her modeling including being one of the faces of Calvin Klein’s recent campaign, or maybe from the dynamic graphic art used for promotional companies throughout Florida, but be ready to embrace her vibes prone to hypnotize.
“All Stars Die”, will be Euro’s follow-up project to her debut “I’m Your Bad News”, and was titled based on her belief that we must all experience an internal death to truly live “free”. The title holds multiple meanings to the German-born rapper and in relation to her personal experiences it was a self-made challenge for her to allow the inner-ego within her to die and to truly scratch her full potential as an artist. After revamping her approach to music she’s going 10 toes, and has tapped into more guitar, acoustically inspired sounds for this project to really feel the vibe. Be sure to check out her buzzing single llegal and the official music video above, and stay tuned for the release of Euro Trill’s project All Stars Die.
JDU8Z, the Tampa Singer & Songwriter, has followed up his debut EP, 2AM IN TAMPA BAY, with an introspective mixtape. THE BEST DAZE OF OUR LIVES was delivered with melodic realism of the ups & downs of being an artist, versus everyday life. With EZN, A Gifted Reject, and Brandon Kai handling majority of the production, they made this out to create a jazzy, passion-filled project that incorporated many acoustic instruments. THE BEST DAZE OF OUR LIVES was JDU8Z analyzing his surroundings, and how the people in it change as he is faced with the many different pressures of being an artist, while maintaining everyday problems. On his featured single ‘Rain Ah Fall’ featuring Reg Blak & Polo, they talk about how differently we deal with dilemmas or heartbreak and while most will fold on him, he remains progressive in his artistry. Another joint that stood out to me was “Champagne Dreams”, also featuring Reg Blak & Polo, but they gave a great summary track for the entire project from a sonic and conceptual perspective. The project-titled track “The Best Days Of Our Lives“, was the true synopsis in which gave us an image of his trials & tribulations with life but how music gave him an outlet to express it. Check out his music video ‘RAIN AH FALL’ and be on the lookout for his next visuals coming soon…
You may have heard “Sour K on da beat” on a recent song possibly from Glokknine, SoldierKidd, or L.P.B. Poody to name a few. A bonafide street anthem, hit maker with a humble spirit and a musically inclined background. Sour K Beats is positioning himself to be the next Super Producer out of Florida. After maneuvering through the scene in early 2018 with his most notable song “10 Percent” going mixtape platinum and the music video reaching nearly 20 Million in half a year, he has followed up by getting multiple production placements on Glokknine’s sophomore mixtape, Loyalty Kill Love. He also played a part on a lot of LPB Poody’s debut mixtape & most recently, Soldier Kidd with his hit song named after the producer, Sour K. All of it added up as to why he is so important within the up & coming Florida rap scene; he is a defining factor in establishing Orlando as a city to be taken seriously, as they are building towards a mainstream level. I got a chance to go to Da Shed [@Rated.Ent on instagram] , the in-house studio where Sour K Beats, Sensei7Beats (Producer), and Nugget Foster (Engineer) have established a formula for making some of the most raw, catchy and soulful sounding recent rap songs out Florida. I was able to catch up with him and sit-down to ask him a few questions in an exclusive Q & A interview.
DJ Keem: So, where are you from?
Sour K: Miami Gardens
DJ Keem: Is it a lot of good music coming out of there right now?
Sour K: Nahhh, not really… it is in Orlando though!
DJ Keem: You got a lot to do with it!
Sour K: … Yeah, I guess you can say that
DJ Keem: So what inspired you to start producing seriously in Orlando vs. back home in South Florida?
Sour K: My daughter, she was born here. I had to do whatever to get on my feet and provide for hermake sure she straight… I just went in.
DJ Keem: That’s what’s up. So, what’s the inspiration behind your beats?
Sour K: I just play what I feel really… I was in the band all throughout middle & high school too. Section leader… all that, but that was a long time ago [Laughing]
DJ Keem: Yeah, I can tell your beats got a unique musical flow. How do you feel about the Orlando music scene in general and how things have been on the come up?
Sour K: I feel like everything is going the way we wanted it to. We put in the work & it happened the right way at the right time.
DJ Keem: How many songs you got that’s Street Platinum (over 1,000,000 streams on mixtape platforms)?
Sour K: It’s a few…I gotta think about it. Black, Knick Knack, 10 Percent. It’s a lot of songs. I’ve been working with a lot of artists on MyMixtapez too, so you’ll be hearing a lot of me.
DJ Keem: So what’s your plan for the future? You dropping your own mixtape? Album?
Sour K: I’ll probably drop a beat tape just to reach out to the artists I want to work with, so probably that.
DJ Keem: How did you get the name Sour K?
Sour K: My cousin actually made it based on a clothing line he’s pursuing right now …. look out for that Sour Kids clothing, but for me it’s just Sour K.
DJ Keem: That’s wassup, keeping it all in the family.
Sour K: Yeah, everything I do right now is with family.
DJ Keem: So in closing, is there anything you would like to tell the people? Anything to look out for or being released in the near future?
Sour K: Nothing I can say, but definitely be on the lookout. Big thing coming soon.
DJ Keem: Good rapping with you. Appreciate you letting me pull up.
Sour K: Definitely, appreciate you!

The Rich Life Producer-Artist, Cris Dinero has finally dropped his highly anticipated debut album, FEELMYPAIN. With the name he’s built over the years, working with the likes of Skippa Da Flippa, Robb Banks, WiFis Funeral and the late, great Xxxtentacion to name some co-collaborators, the bar for his first album was nothing short of experiential. By no means was this anything less than an experience in which the 8-track project gave us bangers including ‘SEE YOU’ & ‘IDGAF’ and a couple of more heartfelt, melodic songs to vibe out to also. Overall, this project is a conceptual masterpiece that will make you feel like you’re in another world and give you a glimpse at truly, how diversified the Florida underground scene is. I look forward to the visuals following FEELMYPAIN to be just as euphoric and abstract as the music makes you feel, so be on the lookout.
