With “Wavey,” he makes a statement that the wave everyone is talking about originated with Max B. Paying respect to the legend himself, MISTA shot the video in NYC, also the birthplace of Hip-Hop. This is also the first time MISTA mentions being in the NFL before he started rapping, and hoe he could never pass a drug test. Watch it above! PREMIERE: BeatKing x DJ Chose – Stand Behind Her (Zander x Lil’Yukichi Remix)
Houston and South Florida, among their many differences, have one thing in common when it comes to rap music: their love for strip club bangers. Houston-based BeatKing, known for bangers like the Rico Love and Kirko Bangz-assisted “Keisha,” dropped a collaborative record with DJ Chose last year called “Stand Behind Her”—which became a household record in the club scene.
Making its way from H-Town to the Gunshine State, “Stand Behind Her” receives a remix treatment from Japanese-American producer Lil’Yukichi along with none other than Broward County’s own Zander, who co-produced Citrus Rap favorite, “Pressure” by Robb Banks. With snappier drums and more elaborate synth-playing, the two soundsmiths breathe new life to the 2015 banger on this refreshing remix.

Sergio Rockstar – God Speed [Mixtape]
Sergio Rockstar releases some new waves in the form of his God Speed mixtape. Coming off of his high-energy performances at SXSW, the Twin Cities, Minnesota native follows up by delivering an 11-track tape laced with wide-ranging instrumentals and thorough messages. His project offers an array of sounds from storytelling statements like “Represent Yo City” to historical narratives like “Dear Obama,” which is a rework of Tupac’s 1995 “Dear Mama.”
