Brandon Bills – No Question (Mixtape)

Miami artist by way of New York, Brandon Bills, unveils his No Question mixtape. The former barber, worked in California, where he found himself cutting hair for different artists in the studio. Naturally, he fell in love with the vibe and energy that came with studio life. Fast forward to present-day, the South Florida upstart presents a solid 12-track body of work that features everything from slow-moving storytelling narratives to bouncy bass-heavy bangers.

The mixtape is an accumulation of childhood musical aspirations, eclectic melodies, and motivational messages met with a heavy Spanish influence. Brandon moves listeners with bouncy tracks like “Sunset,” that recount moments of blowing smoke and grinding until the sun comes up, with Brandon incorporating Spanish stanzas. Cuts like “Hourly” are spicy late-night anecdotes about reloading and romancing. The mixtape showcases Brandon’s ability to move from sweet odes to vivacious anthems. Overall, No Question leaves an impactful imprint that everyone has to go through a struggle. Brandon’s resilient message shines through showing that the life of a hustler is met with hard work and dedication.
