After dropping the single “Caravan 04” a few days ago, Sylvan Lacue has officially released his 5-track EP Evangeline named after his girlfriend. Over the duration of this project Sylvan shares the ups and downs within a relationship, balancing work and love, and his journey finding and embracing himself. The energetic and bass-driven production flow together effortlessly with each track hand-crafted by Fortune from the Flow-Fi collective. Adding sparks to this love story, Venus Amor contributes her seductive vocals on the opening track “Drop Your Plans” and Linzi Jai’s lends his warm vocals on “Caravan 04”. One of my personal favorites is “Facetime & Chill” where Sylvan gives us his unique rendition of Drake’s “How About Now” expressing his insecurities and overcoming tough times.
