From working with other artists such as Hurt Everybody, Joey BADA$$ and sharing an visual for “P’s & Q’s” earlier this year, Mick Jenkins is truly ready to deliver another masterpiece entitled Wave[s] which is a follow up to his latest project The Water[s]. Before I start going on about the EP, let’s start with his newest up tempo single ” Get Up Get Down”. Over the production of Stefan Ponce & Them People, they created a particular beat which blends perfectly with Mick Jenkins rhythmic verses. Wave[s] will be released on August 21 and you will see production from Lee Bannon, Them People, Kaytranda & Mulatto.
