Shy Glizzy is a DMV rapper, hailing from the southeast D.C. area, specifically 37th street as he has been known to shoutout in his songs. From WorldstarHipHop fame early on in his career, Glizzy has developed a substantial cult following, and has even rounded up fellow creatives he believes in to form his own Glizzy Gang, of which everyone sports the last name Glizzy (to a Ramones or A$AP effect). His knack for simplistic-yet-catchy club records has matched well with his powerhouse production from the likes of Zaytoven, Metro Boomin, Young Chop, and Cardo. His Law mixtape series has recruited rap’s most talked about acts like A$AP Rocky and 2 Chainz (on his “Awwsome” remix), Migos, Bobby Shmurda, and Yo Gotti.
