Coming out of North Miami, Dub Gang emcee Philo B drops off his latest offering Omni EP for his birthday as a gift to his fans and a middle finger to the haters. The 7-track tape includes production from JewPaidro and DumDrumz who establish a smooth yet menacing vibe. The only feature is from fellow Dub Gang member Rell Burgundy but other than that Philo holds his own. With the Kanye skit, contrast between laid-back and aggressive verses, sample of Snoop Dogg’s “Sensual Seduction”, and occasional singing, this project stands out against the others.
