VIDEO: Post Malone at UNKNWN Miami

DISCOVER UNKNWN: Post Malone

While in Miami for his first South Florida performance, Post Malone, the 19-year-old up-and-coming musical artist stopped by LeBron James’ store UNKNWN at Aventura Mall in Miami, FL for an in-store meet and greet.

After signing autographs and mingling with his fans, he gave UNKNWN an exclusive interview discussing his vital move to Los Angeles, his Texas roots, the buzzing track “White Iverson,” performing 12 shows in four days at the SXSW music festival this year and his musical inspiration. The interview is voiced over his second highest played song on Soundcloud, “Too Young.”

Prior to 2015, Post Malone was virtually unknown but he has since gained popularity and notoriety after dropping his first single, “White Iverson,” which has generated over 5.8 million plays on Soundcloud since it was released three months ago. Recently, Post has met with legendary producer Rick Rubin, and dropped a full acoustic cover of Bob Dylan’s “Don’t Think Twice, It’s Alright” on his Facebook page. He has hinted on social media that his fans can expect a full album drop soon.

This is the first interview of an informal conversational series called “Stockroom Sessions,” at UNKNWN. Expect more curated and informational content from UNKNWN in the near future in the form of seasonal collection look books, artist interviews and event recaps. Sivik – U Got [XXYYXX Remix]

Orlando’s XXYYXX decided to provide fans today with his own rendition of Sivik‘s “U Got” single. In an email to FADER, Sivik said the remix happened “Because we both vibe so well musically we thought it would be fun to collaborate with a remix. XXYYXX provides a new sonic landscape to ‘U Got’ that I really dig. I think it even helps give the song somewhat of a new point of view.” Well Sivik, we couldn’t agree more. After a three-month hiatus, C Dot Castro returns to the interwebs with a party-themed track perfect for the summer months we have coming up. Castro delivers some intricate rhymes over the uptempo instrumental, provided by in-house producer Jae Faive. This track also features Finally Famous affiliate Earlly Mac, who closes things out with a complementary verse, rounding out the track nicely.
