Back in 2018, artist 070 Shake became the forerunner of the 070 crew as she makes an great impression with her appearance on the Ye album with Kanye West, grabbing attention with her raw vocals that became a standout on the album. Now the next member to share the spotlight is the Jersey artist, Treee Safari.
Treee Safari spills pure emotion over her newly released track, “Brain Dead”. Similar to Juice Wrld, as where you can hear the deep cuts of an “emo” sound, fusing it with hip-hop characteristics as well as meshing with rock elements. Her high-pitched vocality sings pain of broken hearts and regrets but manages to hit the soul. Alongside the single, she drops a lyric video for it. Treee Safari uses samples of clips from classic horror flicks such as American Psycho, Edward Scissorhands and more to further encapsulate on the feeling of “Brain Dead”.
