Making a play from long distance, San Francisco’s own, Mike Beez, makes his CitrusRap debut with “Pretty Jenny”. His second solo single, since releasing, Fuck Ed Lee, an album about the injustices that they’ve witnessed. This go around Mike Beez hits the world over the head with an otherworldly groove laced with funk and player ways, produced by Mike Beez and FSK. It’s as if Max Julien was teaching aliens to be a mack. Mike Beez put constructed a laid paid, head nodding joint that almost orders your body to go into chill mode, but that overpower take away from the fluid and poetic, spoken word style flow that he delivers over this masterpiece.
