The Weeknd is heating up the summer with the lead single “Can’t Feel My Face” from his upcoming album. A little different from what fans may be accustomed to this record has a very mainstream pop appeal to it. By the sound of it there’s some heavy influence from Michael Jackson giving the track that groovy feel that just makes you want to dance. It’s no surprise that this song has a double meaning as The Weeknd personifies drugs as a beautiful woman. He compares the euphoria of love to the high of doing drugs, and although he knows it will be the death of him the feeling is too great for him to stop.
